In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Maybe, maybe not. Remains to be seen. Innocent until prove guilty, right? Kash Jackson has already made bail in Arkansas, successfully fighting extradition in October.
Abuse of Due Process in this case should alarm all US Citizens who cherish freedom and protections afforded to us in our country. The basis of this prosecution arises from a political attack going back 4+ years. J.B. Pritzker is singling out Kash Jackson, while catching and releasing dangerous criminals in an environment of newer controversial bail reform.
What's more is that Lake County Illinois is notorious for corruption...
The press release describing Kash Jackson's experience with Judge Joe Salvi as "an ongoing civil case" is a coverup on its face. In reality this political witch hunt arises from the 2018 Gubernatorial campaign when Salvi's wanted Jackson to get out of the race. When Kash didn't comply, Judge Joe Salvi cut off Jackson's access to his daughter, eventually being completely alienated from both his children completely. The 20 year Navy Veteran was never found unfit by a court and has been attacked by the Lake County Black Robe Mafia for years.
Governor Bruce Rauner (R-IL) and Democratic challenger J.B. Pritzker faced each other in a debate in Chicago. They were joined on stage by two other candidates, Libertarian Kash Jackson and Conservative Party candidate Sam McCann. Topics covered in the debate included term limits, unions, Colin Kaepernick, immigration, gun violence and education spending.
