Kefauver. Kutner. Ruby. Chicago. Dallas. Ohio.
Long before November 1963, the Kefauver investigation crossed paths with a remarkable network. My Grandfather, Luis Kutner served as the intermediary who, by his later account, connected Jack Ruby with Kefauver Committee chief counsel Rudolph Halley. At the same moment, Tony Paul Scott—Doug Ducey’s maternal great-uncle—was a major Toledo gambling figure subpoenaed by the same Senate investigation. Public-record reporting places Scott at the center of Toledo’s gambling world during precisely that era.
More than sixty years later, those two family lines enter from opposite directions: An accidental journalist born out of a divorce case, bumping into Ducey at the center of a news story on Bustamante & Kuffner that caused Arizona officials to frame me in 2017.
That is the historical symmetry at the heart of Grand Canyon State of Conspiracy, which also examines the JFK assassination: were these merely disconnected episodes separated by generations—or are we looking at the early architecture of relationships whose echoes continued far beyond the Kefauver era?
The map doesn’t answer the question. It shows you why the question exists. And why CAF isn’t first one to make this connection. However first to publish theory to place Kutner as Ruby’s handler.
GCSOC: Nineteen months after the arrest I maintain was a frame job, I was still on probation — and still hadn’t stopped publishing. The footage in this clip, however, was recorded much earlier: in September 2017, roughly a week before my arrest, after I say a call into Andy Biggs‘ Washington office was hijacked and federal authorities began intercepting my calls. I fled Georgia, hid out in a hotel while waiting to enter Arizona, and kept documenting what was happening around me.
By the time I released this footage in 2019, I was communicating with my probation officer, Chandler Porter, through a coded system for my location. Porter was quietly running interference with federal authorities to help protect me while I continued investigating and publishing. The result is a strange time capsule inside Grand Canyon State of Conspiracy: footage from the days immediately before the arrest, released nineteen months later by a journalist still under probation, still documenting the case, and still trying to understand the machinery closing in around me.

@MarkCaseyNews wrote the @MCSOAZ Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office press release that framed me. Two years later I called @abc15. He answered as news director. On this tape Mark says he can’t retract the story because it’s “on the court record” that I threatened a judge.
He created that record, writing the press release. Then sat in the chair that decides whether it ever gets corrected. This is 759 days after Lori Horn Bustamante attacked the Arizona and U.S. Constitutions. Casey was PIO at MCSO. Before that, @12News. Then ABC15 put him in as news director.
@AZCourts Katie Fisher did not take this call because Mark’s distinct mission when taking the job was to keep a lid on the historic conspiracy between government and MSM. A criminal conspiracy by dirty cops, politicians and media members transcending both @azdemparty and @AZGOP even captured the black robe mafia in Arizona comprised of elitists and concentrated power from both parties. At root their motive is money, influence and reputation. Political ideologies are a side car to real purpose.
Mark taking this call was not an accident. Lines prepared for a year. He was placed there to control the story, in the same window former @AZHispanicBar Edward Maldonado was already in trouble and moving toward indictment. On this line he talks like the story is new to him. It was not new to him. Just like when current @BCBSAZ @Penzone4sheriff pretended he didn’t know about the case when he covered up on Linkedin, which led to his resignation.
For almost a year I documented leads and evidence on the most powerful people in Arizona — crimes, public corruption, bar-license issues — to @FOX10Phoenix @JohnHookfox10, @abc15 @DaveBiscobing15 and @12News @brahmresnik in the Phoenix market. Was operating professionally after signing a movie contract with Hollywood producer Ramon Fernandez who had a documentary on @Netflix at the time.
But instead of running the story, those newsrooms worked with @marcoattorney, @DougDucey and MCSO to shut the journalist up. This call is what that looks like from inside the building. I contend this is the widest-ranging political conspiracy and cover-up in Arizona history. The repeating pattern is the same one you see every time a state machine protects itself: the players stay bundled, and they stay compromised, with jobs, access, and power.
The tape does not start in a newsroom. It starts with the culture that produced the people in that newsroom. @gcu Grand Canyon University sells a public Christianity whose fruit does not match the sermon. Scandal after scandal. Federal after federal. Doctoral-cost deception findings. @FTC action. False Claims Act money. Nonprofit / for-profit shell games. The same donor-and-board class that runs GCU sits in the sheriff’s office, the prosecutor shops, the newsrooms, and the statehouse.
